Dr (Lt Col) Sumit Kumar Singh is an experienced Ophthalmologist cum Administrator with passion for helping patients, improve eye health functionality through preventative and corrective care. Diverse educational and work background, including 15yrs of experience in Indian Army & well-known Cataract and Glaucoma Specialist at the Eye Centre at Apex Multi-speciality Hospital sector 115, Noida.

He specializes in Anterior segment eye disorders, Cataract, Uveitis and Glaucoma. She did her Graduation from ANM Medical College Gaya followed by Post graduation (MS) from West Bengal University Of Health Sciences (WBUHS) Kolkata & D.N.B in Ophthalmology under NBE .He also holds a Master Degree in Hospital Administration from University of Nagaland while in Army.

He had undergone Fellowship training in Cataract (Phaco) & Glaucoma and worked in various Army Hospitals govt. and private hospitals

He worked as Deputy Medical Superintendent at Rama Medical College and Research Centre Ghaziabad and Presently working at VIMS

Decorated with special service Medal W/C SURAKSHA twice (Op Rakshak) while serving in Army.

He had presented many sessions in Ophthalmology conferences. He has won many awards on her presentations and contributions in conferences. Also He had published multiple papers on IOL formulae, Pterygium’s and Anti VEGF Study’s

He has participated and organized any eye check-up camps for underprivileged sector of the society.

He is a member of various ophthalmic societies.
